Leave Ipswich 9.15am - depart Knebworth House around 4pm

We are pleased to be able to offer a day trip by coach on Tuesday 5 August to Knebworth House, the seat of the Cobbold Family and home to Lord Henry Lytton Cobbold. A highlight will be exclusive access to the Cobbold Family History Trust archive and the archivist will showcase some of the items of particular relevance to Ipswich and the Mansion.

We’ll leave Ipswich at about 9.15am from the bus layby at Crown Street. We’ll have coffee on arrival at around 11.30am before a guided tour of Knebworth House. After a two course lunch (food choices will be discussed after booking) we’ll visit the Cobbold archives in small groups with time left to explore the gardens and exhibition before leaving around 4pm.
